Newcastle's Fast Blood release their long-awaited debut album "Sunny Blunts" on Friday, 3rd May 2024.

"Sunny Blunts" is soulful, complex, hook-laden, abrasive, and introspective. It is by far the band's most ambitious release to date - a richly diverse collection of songs, all distinctive, commanding, and impactful in their own way.

Fast Blood has been tearing up the DIY punk scene since 2019 with their powerful & relentless sonic barrage. Since their first appearance opening for North-East legends Martha, they have shared stages with good company in the likes of Mannequin Pussy, Pegboy, and Toxic Reasons.

"Sunny Blunts" was recorded and mixed by Chris McManus at Blank Studios, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, and was mastered by Will Killingsworth (Orchid, Bucket Full of Teeth, Ampere) at Dead Air Studios, Western Mass, USA.

A limited edition pressing of the LP will be available on coloured vinyl on 1st July 2024, released by Sangre Rapida Records.
